The Compliance and Audit Coordinator is responsible for audits at all production locations.  The Compliance and Audit Coordinator is dedicated to tracking inventory through daily, weekly and quarterly audits.  The Compliance and Audit Coordinator is required to follow policies and procedures to track product from seed to sale while adhering to company and state regulations. The Compliance and Audit Coordinator is expected to operate under the highest standards of compliance and professionalism.  The Compliance and Audit Coordinator is required to travel to all locations to audit product as needed and compare our Inventory Tracking System with METRC.  They will be responsible for investigating any discrepancies and recording necessary adjustments in METRC.  They will be knowledgeable of MRA rules and regulations and be a resource to all production staff. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

 

Compliance

    • Ensure that all products produced in the cultivation facility and marijuana infused products facility receive the appropriate state-mandated testing.

 

  • Coordinate lab sampling, including METRC data entry, for all samples as required by state laws.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of testing results to packaging and supply chain departments.

 



Procedures and Productivity 

  • Complete daily audits of Grow Pack and Processor finished goods and notify Production management of discrepancies.
  • Complete quarterly audits of all Production inventory.
  • Works in a timely manner and strives for accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain a culture of professionalism.

 

Tracking and Audits

  • Conduct daily product spot audits through Inventory Tracking System that link up with METRC.
  • Conduct and take part in quarterly audits.
  • Conduct onboarding audits of production facilities for future company expansion.

 

Logs and Record Keeping

  • Finish compiling METRC adjustment template and communicate adjustments.
  • Pull reports for METRC adjustments.

 

Compliance and Reporting

  • Ensure compliance with all Company, State and Federal regulations.
  • Ensure that workflow and work procedures are followed and documented, and that appropriate controls and audits are in place to ensure data and processing integrity.
  • Assist with the development and improvement of current audit procedures.

 

Other Duties

  • Other duties as assigned, including, but not limited to, assisting Production management as needed.

 

Supervision

  • Works under the general supervision of the Senior Manager of Production Compliance.

 

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Secondary education or equivalent preferred. 

 

Work Experience

  • Six months of experience working in the METRC system. 
  • Proven proficiency in Microsoft and Google (i.e. Excel, Word, Docs, Sheets).
  • Experience working in a fast-paced production environment preferred. 
  • Willing to give and take direction.

Working Conditions

  • Able to use a computer for extended periods of time.
  • Able to move about a typical office, manufacturing, warehouse, or retail environment.
  • Able to perform general office administrative activities. 
  • Able to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally.
  • Regular and on-time attendance.
  • Hours regularly exceed 40 hours per week.
  • Occasional travel by conventional means including aircraft, motor vehicle and the like within the region and to other locations as required.
