Purpose

 

The Receiving and Fulfillment Associate is responsible for accepting and processing deliveries for all non-medicated sellable product. The Receiving and Fulfillment Associate’s responsibilities include verifying delivered items, barcoding items, preparing transfers, unloading delivery vans, and ensuring items are stored correctly within the distribution center. The Receiving and Fulfillment Associate is expected to inspect deliveries with great attention to detail and access inventory for damages.

 

Essential Duties

 

  • Receiving, processing, labeling, and storing incoming inventory.
  • Verifies quantities on deliveries match purchase order.
  • Check all inventory upon delivery for damage and any other manufacturer’s malfunctions.
  • Prepares orders by pulling materials, processing transfers, packing totes, and placing totes in delivery area.
  • Maintains a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pick up area for totes, and workstations neat.
  • Organizing and storing received items in appropriate areas.
  • Promotes clean shipping supply area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Coordinate with other departments, Grow Distribution, to ensure delivery of product to retail locations.
  • Promote a work environment that is positive, customer-service oriented, and compliant with established company policies and procedures.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned by management and department lead.

Skills and/or Abilities

  • Time management and planning skills.
  • Organizational and communication skills.
  • Basic ability to use Microsoft Office, Point of Sale software and inventory management software is required.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Data entry, documentation, and reporting skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations to employees and vendors maintaining a professional and courteous manner.
  • Ability to be a team player and contribute to team results.
  •  

 

Compliance and Reporting

  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations.
  • Ensure that workflow and work procedures are documented, and that appropriate controls and audit are in place to ensure data and processing integrity.

 

Other Duties

  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Supervision

  • Works under the <direct> supervision of the Faded Manager and the Director of Supply Chain.
  • This person does not supervise others.

 

Job Qualifications

 

Work Experience

  • 1-2 years of inventory management preferred.

 

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

 

Working Conditions

 

  • Able to use a computer for extended periods of time.
  • Able to move about a typical office, manufacturing, warehouse, or retail environment.
  • Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Regular and on-time attendance and observance of break schedules.
