Step 2 - Apply for Your Medical Card Online

Before you begin your application, make sure you have the following items:

  • Valid Michigan ID or driver’s license OR
  • Valid Michigan voter registration with proof of identity

To begin the application process, visit the Michigan Medical Marijuana Program website and create an account. Upload the required documents, as well as the provider certification. You’ll then pay the application processing fee of $40.

Your application will be approved or denied within 15 days of receiving the application. You will then receive your Michigan medical marijuana card or a letter of denial within five days of the application review.
