Working under the direction of the Manager of Audit Compliance. The Compliance and Audit

Coordinator is responsible for audits at all retail locations.  The Compliance and Audit Coordinator is dedicated to tracking inventory through daily and/or quarterly audits and following policies and procedures to follow product from seed to sale while adhering to company and state regulations. The (Inventory Specialist) is expected to operate under the highest standards of compliance and professionalism.

Essential Duties

Compliance and Reporting

  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations.
  • Ensure that individual and team performance meets the Company’s standards of service and quality.
  • Work collaboratively with all the Company’s employees.
  • Maintain data integrity by investigating discrepancies and making METRC adjustments.
  • Provide training material and SOP updates as new regulations come into effect Stay current with all laws, rules, and regulations as they pertain to the industry.
  • Assist in violation investigation, information gathering and resolution.

Project Management

  • Develop and manage projects, including defining project scope, resources and achieving deliverables on time and within budget.

Other Duties

  • Other duties as assigned.


  • Works under the direct supervision of the Senior Manager of Audits and Compliance.
  • This person does not directly supervise exempt nor non-exempt employees: it is a collaborative relationship with employees, managers, and senior managers of the grow.

Job Qualifications

Work Experience

  • A minimum of two years of experience working in the marijuana industry.
  • Knowledge of the State of Colorado Marijuana laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Knowledge of loss prevention methods and strategies to control shrinkage.
  • Demonstrated project management capabilities.
  • Proven proficiency in Microsoft and Google (IE: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Docs, Sheets).
  • Must have a valid Occupational License from the Colorado Marijuana Enforcement Division.


  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Working Conditions

  • Able to use a computer for extended periods of time.
  • Able to move about a typical office, manufacturing, warehouse, or retail environment.
  • Able to perform general office managerial and administrative activities.
  • Able to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally.
  • Regular and on-time attendance.
  • Hours regularly exceed 40 hours per week.
