The Franklin South Supervisor of Processing  is responsible for supporting the Franklin South Manager of Production to manage all aspects of trim operations, assisting and supervising the trimming, curing and packaging operations in the production facilities and providing leadership for a diverse team. The Supervisor of Processing will assist in leading the Trim department, Cure department, and the team for talent development, and driving results. It is essential that the Supervisor of Processing is capable of operating the department, should the Manager of Production be absent for any length of time. Employees must be able to call upon the Supervisor of Processing with work related issues that they may have.  This position is also responsible for creating and editing packages within CounterPoint. This position requires a high attention to detail and a more advanced working knowledge of CounterPoint as well as METRC. This position provides regular and timely communication with team members within the Trim, Cure, Distribution, Testing, and Analytics departments.

Essential Duties and/or Responsibilities



  • Ensure the proper execution for all aspects of Trim, Cure and Packaging as assigned by the Manager of Production

  • Oversee production on the Trim and Cure floor.

  • Ensure production goals are achieved.

  • Delegate labor where needed per workflow demands / attendance.

  • Ensure daily interactions with Trim and Cure employees.

  • Providing leadership and direction.

  • Responsible for inventorying all dried and cured product, maintaining updates to the inventory system.

  • Assisting with audits and resolving inventory errors.

Tracking and Monitoring

  • Rotate and adjust rooms based on moisture levels & rate of drying.

  • Place and remove product from sheet trays and hanging racks.

  • Ensure organization and proper separation of harvest batches, licenses and grading of product.

  • Ensure proper labeling of all product.

  • Analyzing data details and accuracy.

  • Ensuring all product has passed all testing and is ready to go to packaging.

  • Entering all inventory data into the Cure racks by weight and batch spreadsheet.

  • Organizing and separating harvest batches based on testing results.

  • Enter product that is ready for packaging into Counterpoint and METRC.


Inventory and Reporting

  • Execute production flow according to Standard Operating Procedures.

  • Ensure all protocols are being followed.

  • Update and track all required information in the Trim and Cure logs daily.

  • Monitor and address situations which may include lost tags, minimizing bud/product loss.

  • Determine plants for extraction.


Process and Controls

  • Assist Manager of Production to determine improvements in department processes.

  • Maximize department efficiency.

  • Assist Manager of Production to ensure department goals are created and facilitated.

  • Determine quality of product from each day’s harvest and how it will be graded.

  • Delegate tasks to employees on a priority basis.

  • Ensure all Trim and Cure members perform assigned tasks in accordance with Delt Services and department standards.

  • Assist Trim and Cure employees, and management to accomplish all tasks, quotas and goals on a daily basis.


  • Attend morning meetings with the Manager of Production to plan updates for all employees that concern daily activities and company changes.

  • Ensure communication between the departments for work flow.

  • Communicate changes to Delt’s standards, protocol, and policy to Trim and Cure employees.

  • Correctly follow opening / closing protocol for the Trim and Cure departments.



  • Assist with providing leadership and direction to departmental employees to ensure the effective use and management of systems. Think in terms of operational effectiveness, accessibility, security, and scalability.


Compliance and Reporting

  • Assist to ensure compliance with all local, state and federal regulations.  

  • Assist to ensure that workflow and work procedures are documented and that appropriate controls and audits are in place to ensure data and processing integrity.


Leadership and Supervision

  • Assist with management of employees, including hiring and developing, planning, assigning and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining, addressing complaints and resolving employee issues.

  • Provide technical leadership and managerial direction to designated employees.  

  • Assist in establishing initial and ongoing training for employees to ensure an adequate level of understanding regarding guidelines, policies and procedures.  

  • Secure proper training for all new/incoming employees.

  • Ensure that individual and team performance meets the Company’s standards of service and quality.

  • Monitor Trim and Cure employee attendance, time off balances, time off requests, and all other attendance related procedures/processes.

  • Perform disciplinary actions as directed by the Manager of Production.

  • Perform departmental reviews as directed by the Manager of Production.

  • Provide coaching for Trim and Cure employees.

  • Work collaboratively with all Delt’s employees and business partners.

  • Assist with providing effective leadership to employees to ensure a complete understanding of and alignment to Delt’s vision, mission and values to maintain a positive work environment and a high level of morale.


Project Management

  • Assist with Developing and managing projects, including defining project scope, resources and achieving deliverables on time and within budget.


Work Environment

  • Adhere to all work safety requirements including but not limited to: lifting, bending, and move up and down ladders throughout shift.

  • Perform regular cleaning and maintenance on work surfaces, tools, and related equipment to ensure the workstations are well maintained.

  • Ensure cleanliness of all areas in the garden.

  • Maintain a positive attitude that creates a positive work environment.

  • Keep doors closed when not in use.

  • Wear protective clothing when working with plants.

  • Before exiting the facility remove protective clothing and ensure that there is no cannabis on your personal clothing, shoes, or hair.


Other Duties

  • Other duties as assigned. 

  • Including, but not limited to, assisting other departments to help facilitate the additional and/or supplemental work such harvesting, trimming, packaging, cleaning and light maintenance as needed throughout the facility.



  • Works under the direct supervision of the Manager of Production.

  • Supervises and directs Trim and Cure department employees and other employees assisting in the Trim/Cure department.  

Job Qualifications


Work Experience

  • A minimum of one year of experience working in a related industry or work environment.

  • Six months to one year of experience Trimming and Curing required.

  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities.

  • Previous management experience preferred.

  • Demonstrated oral and written communication capabilities.

  • Bilingual in English / Spanish preferred.

  • Ability to utilize and modify electronic documents for the trim department and cure department.

  • Able to perform essential functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

  • Knowledge of local, state and federal employment laws relating to key areas of responsibility.

  • Must be able to secure appropriate work credentials from the Colorado Department of Revenue, MED.



  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

  • Able to use a computer for extended periods of time.

  • Able to move about a typical office, manufacturing, warehouse, or retail environment.

  • Able to perform general office managerial and administrative activities.

  • Able to lift and move up to 30 pounds occasionally.

  • Regular and on-time attendance.

  • Hours regularly exceed 40 hours per week.

  • Occasional travel by conventional means including aircraft, motor vehicle and the like within the region and to other locations as required.
